The Youth Gathering is a long-standing tradition in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). It focuses on the spiritual formation of your child in a safe and fun manner and we are beyond excited to begin planning with you and your youth! - Kayleigh Lopez, DCE,

A special presentation by our CUI field work students about Parent/Youth Faith Formation. Please join us Sunday, November 10th in the Youth Room from 4:00-5:00PM.
- Dear High School Parents, I would like to invite you to a special workshop hosted by one of our Fieldwork students. The workshop will take place on November 10th from 4:00-5:00 PM in the Youth Room. This workshop will explore the issues that youth are facing today, examining them through a Biblical lens. The goal is to help parents of high schoolers discover practical ways to incorporate faith into their daily routines. The timing of this workshop is designed to coincide with our normal Youth Group schedule. The youth will have Bible Study from 3:00-4:00 PM, and then they will head out to another part of campus for an activity from 4:00-5:00 PM. This allows the parent workshop to be more seamless and integrated into the existing youth programming. I encourage you to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to gain insights and strategies for supporting your high school-aged children in their spiritual growth and development. Hey High School Families,
The High School Youth Group utilizes the WhatsApp. Please read the information below to get set up.
If your child is entering into their freshman year of High School, I would like to add them to the High School Youth Group WhatsApp.
The High School Youth Group communicates through “WhatsApp”. “WhatsApp” is a free messaging application on Smart phones that will allow for the user to send and receive text messages, calls, photos, videos and voice messages.
Text message is one of the biggest ways I communicate with the Youth Group about upcoming Bible Studies and events. Over the last year is has become apparent that using standard text messaging is no longer a viable option.
Our Youth Group has outgrown the ability to have all of our members in a single group chat via standard text message. “WhatsApp” helps to eliminate that problem and will allow for Android and iPhones users to communicate in the same group chat.
Please consider allowing your child to download and use the “WhatsApp” so that this line of communication may continue. If you have any questions about this App please feel free to email, call or text me. I had attached a picture of the app so you can make sure you are using the correct one.

The Yearlong Permission Form is a form that must be filled out annually and gives permission for ALL youth ages 2 years old to College Age to attend and participate in any BLC's Youth, Children & Family Ministry activities, events including but not limited to: Under Grace, Sparklers, Club 35, Confirmation, High School Youth, College Youth and Servant Events.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! High School Youth...if you are interested in volunteering to help with Coffee & Donuts on Sunday mornings please click on the link below. There are two opportunities (i.e. two fellowship times, one after each morning service) on Sunday mornings. This is a great way for youth to interact with members of our congregation, work alongside another youth and add funds into their own Youth Ministry Youth Account. The value in their youth account may be used towards paying for any Youth Ministry event they wish to participate in. ACOLYTE AND CRUCIFER PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS:
Boys and girls in the 4th through 12th grades, who are members of Bethany Lutheran Church or non-members who participate in one of Bethany's education programs (e.g. Kid's Bible Discovery, Christian Day School, or Confirmation classes) are eligible to participate.
